Disproportionate burden
The Monitor services (Monitor Local and Monitor UK) will be replaced with a new product, Monitor Open, in Q4 2024 and this will address issues of inaccessible content. We consider it appropriate to invest our resources into this new fully accessible service rather than into a website that is being replaced.
How we tested this website
This website was and is currently being tested for compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines V2.1 level A and level AA, and these tests have been carried out internally.
We used the Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology (WCAG-EM) approach to a sample of pages to test. We tested our sample using accessibility tools including Wave to test our sample.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
The Monitor services (Monitor Local and Monitor UK) will be replaced with a new product, Monitor Open, in Q4 2024 which will address the above issues. We consider it appropriate to invest our resources into this new fully accessible service rather than into a website that is being replaced.
